At Pretty Witty Cakes, we have taught baking and cake decorating to 1000s of people. We also receive 1000s of emails each year where our students show us their amazing cake decorating.

We felt it was time that we celebrated the work of brilliant cake makers and cake decorators all around the world! Enter the Pretty Witty Cakes Awards ! We therefore frequently run a competition open to everyone wherever you are in the world. All you need to do to enter is follow the instructions set out below.

The winners will be chosen by public vote based on a short list put together by the judges.

If you are an Online Tutorial member , you will also receive 10 Reward Points every time you enter the Pretty Witty Cakes Competitions and more points if your entry wins a prize.

Entry Rules

To enter, you must comply with the following rules:

Each entry must be the unaided and sole work of the entrant whose name and email is on the competition submission form. Only 1 entry per person. Ages 16 and over. Proof of age may be requested.
Each entry must be given a name and a description and must state which category you are entering. The photo of the finished cake must not contain a watermarked or identification of the maker so that judging can be neutral without knowledge of the entrants business name. If you run a business, you must include your business name, website and facebook address on the entry form. You do not need to run a business to enter - you can be an amateur.
The judges will choose finalists from each category then they will select three finalists to be the "overall winner". The overall winner will then be chosen according to votes by members of the public (details on how to be revealed when voting opens).
Entries must be submitted by the closing date of 15 March 2015. The shortlist will be chosen by the judges and public voting will commence thereafter. The winners will be notified by email and on facebook. All entries are subject to the full Terms and Conditions .

The Prize

The winners of each competition will each receive a Pretty Witty Cakes award. In addition:

A state of the art Kenwood Mixer worth in excess of £400*. We are huge fans of Kenwood Mixers (to read why, see our blog post here )!
A coveted Pretty Witty Cakes Award – known as a Cake "Tombstone".
500 Reward points to add to their Members Account (Rewards Points applicable only to Members). To find out more about Membership and what it offers, see here .

The winning cake will also be featured in the Pretty Witty Cakes' Online Magazine , on our website Members Photo Gallery and/or Forum and/or on Pretty Witty Cakes' Facebook Page.

* The Kenwood Stand K Mixer is a heavy item and we can only ship the winning prize to a mainland UK address. If you win and are based outside the UK, you can opt to have an annual membership as an alternative prize as well as 1,000 reward points - automatically making you a bronze member with a higher discount level in the shop. Price estimates are taken from UK prices and average. Electrical appliances come with UK plugs. Pretty Witty Cakes Ltd does not bear any responsibility whatsoever for electrical work or functionality.

How To Vote

Voting for the finalists is now closed. We will reopen it after the next competition finalists are announced.

The total website votes and likes on the facebook image will be added together and the winner will be the ones with the mosts votes. Voting closes at 12 midnight UK time on 27 March.
